KUTZTOWN, PA – Dellicker Strategies, LLC today announced today that, after five years in business, the company has reached the $100 million mark in the successful execution of telecommunications contracts for K-12 education, health care technology infrastructure and higher education.  In 2009 alone, Dellicker Strategies completed 14 contracts totaling $11.7 million.

Since its inception in 2005, Dellicker Strategies has become a leader in helping K-12 schools acquire and implement better technology services for helping students learn.  The company’s proprietary process encourages schools to work together on technology purchases instead of buying them separately, allowing for cost savings and network improvements.  Dellicker Strategies has also expanded its reach by applying its purchasing system to universities, healthcare systems and manufacturers in Pennsylvania, West Virginia and New York.

“Today’s announcement is important to our company, but it’s also a milestone for Pennsylvania. After working to connect nearly every school in the Commonwealth to high speed broadband services, schools are now able to access information at faster speeds, in a safer way and at a lower cost,” said Kevin Dellicker, President of Dellicker Strategies, LLC.  “I am pleased that we are also growing our business to apply these same services to higher education and the health care industry.  By working with our private telecommunications partners, we are helping our clients improve their capacity to use technology to meet their needs in a cost-effective way.”

At a time when budgets are tight and every dollar counts, Dellicker Strategies has helped its clients get more value from their telecommunications purchases.  In total, Dellicker Strategies has helped its clients see a cumulative savings of $34 million on Internet costs.  But the benefits of high-speed networking extend far beyond just cutting costs.

Christine Smith, Director of eLearning and Professional Development for Dellicker Strategies explained, "Not only have we worked to develop the infrastructure to connect schools, we are now helping school districts and intermediate units leverage these tools to create content that can be shared with other schools over a safe and secure network.  Programs like virtual field trips and video-on-demand are now accessible at the touch of a button.”

“Dellicker Strategies has played a key role in the completion of the Montgomery County Regional Wide Area Network.  They have clearly demonstrated a commitment to improving education in Pennsylvania in a cost-effective and innovative way,” said Gail Kennedy, Director of Technology and Information Services at Montgomery County Intermediate Unit 23.

Dellicker Strategies also served as the lead consultant to PAIUnet, a statewide network for education led by the Pennsylvania Association of Intermediate Units.  PAIUnet links together more than 500 intermediate units, school districts and vocational technical schools to create Pennsylvania’s first kindergarten through 12th grade educational network.
